FAQ

Every MysteryRock is a real geode formed in nature, which means every stone is unique. Because of that, people often have a few questions before cracking their first one open.

Below you'll find answers to the most common questions about our geodes, how they’re selected, how to open them, and what you can expect to discover inside.

If you still need help, our support team is always happy to assist.

Are the crystals real?

Yes. The crystals inside our geodes are completely natural mineral formations created inside the earth. Nothing is artificial or manufactured.

What crystals can I find?

Each MysteryRock contains a natural geode with crystal formations inside.

Possible discoveries include:

• Quartz crystals
• Amethyst crystals
• Calcite crystal formations

Every geode forms differently in nature, which means every reveal is unique.

How big are the geodes?

Each MysteryRock is completely natural and therefore varies slightly in size.

Typical size: 4 – 7 cm

Typical weight: 100 – 300 grams

How do I open it?

Place the rock on a hard surface and gently tap it with a hammer.

After a few taps the rock will split open and reveal the crystal formation inside.

For best results we recommend using a small hammer.

Are they all different?

Yes. Every geode is unique. The crystal formations inside develop naturally, which means no two geodes will ever look exactly the same.

How long is shipping?

Once your order is placed, our team carefully selects the geodes that have the highest potential to reveal beautiful crystal formations inside.

Because each geode is natural, this selection process takes 1–2 business days.

After processing, your order is shipped and typically arrives within 4–6 business days.

You will receive a tracking number as soon as your geodes are on their way.

What if I'm unhappy with the result?

We want you to have a great experience. If you're not happy with your geode, contact us and we’ll send you another one for free.

Is there a hammer included with my geode?

Hammers are not included by default, but you can easily add one to your order during checkout.

Is this safe for children?

Yes. Many families enjoy opening geodes together. Because the rock is opened with a hammer, we recommend adult supervision.

Where do the geodes come from?

The geodes come from natural mineral regions like Morocco and Brazil where crystals form inside volcanic rocks. These stones are collected and selected before being shipped.
